RUBY BLUE**** is a new four-star hotel situated in the centre of Ostrava on the famous Stodolni Street. It is the first hotel and restaurant of its kind on Stodolni Street. RUBY BLUE story

Every restaurant, coffee house and bar should have a special atmosphere, something that makes you go back again and again because you feel comfortable there. Such an environment was created for you in the new RUBY BLUE restaurant on Stodolni Street in the centre of Ostrava.

Both the restaurant and hotel were designed in a simple and modern style. The interior contains interesting architectural elements such as red Spanish slate used on the central staircase wall and a glass bench on the first floor with seating for guests.

Stodolni Street comes alive especially at night and our three-storied restaurant with its interior illumination becomes a main feature of this street. If you cannot see the interior of the restaurant in the daytime, the opposite is true in the night.

It is difficult to give a new restaurant its name. It might be more difficult than naming a newborn child! In the end we decided for Ruby. The red colour appears often in the interior and it is pleasantly warming and welcoming, reflecting a tinge of red wine and the nuances of the natural stone. And what about Blue? Don’t you agree that these two words RUBY and BLUE belong to each other?

Regarding the number of seating places, the floor space of this restaurant is one of the largest on Stodolni Street. Everyone can find a great table here at Ruby Blue.

By the way, Ruby Blue has another meaning. Of course, Ruby is a woman's name and blue means sad. You could take Ruby Blue to mean Sad Ruby! However, in Ruby Blue nobody is left sad for long as they are soon caught up in the merry atmosphere.
